DIAGNOSTIC DYSLEXIA ASSESSMENT

A full diagnostic

assessment and written report for

7 to 15 year olds - £575.

This assessment covers tests on underlying ability, cognitive abilities and attainment in literacy. It usually takes 3-4 hours and a written report is completed within 2 weeks. The report is written in accordance with the SpLD Assessment Standards Committee (SASC) current guidelines for diagnostic assessment and report writing.

INITIAL ASSESSMENT OF LITERACY ATTAINMENT

          For 6 to 15 year olds - £150.
Standardised assessments of word reading, text reading, comprehension and spelling are carried out to explore strengths and difficulties in literacy. These tests are a good starting point to investigate literacy difficulties but it does not give a dyslexia diagnosis. The assessments take around an hour and a half. A written report is completed within a week.

assessment.
